Patients

Dr. House has a family general dentistry practice and treats most dental care needs for patients from the age of three throughout adulthood.

Dr. House is currently accepting new patients to his practice.

Hours

Dr. House and his staff schedule appointments for all patients based on their dental care needs and the expected time required to perform the dental procedures necessary. He believes that your time is valuable and attempts to be timely in his care of patients.

Scheduling & Check-ups

Appointments are scheduled in person or by phone (318) 949-9878.

Dr. House recommends check ups every six months for most patients in order to maintain good dental health and prevent the advancement of dental caries and other dental disease. Typically, dental check ups include a dental examination by Dr. House, necessary radiographs, oral cancer screening, periodontal assessment, and preventive cleaning and polishing of all teeth.

Scheduling for dental treatment is based on the expected time required to perform each procedure. It is important to realize that occasionally treatment may take more or less time than expected. Patients should not plan other commitments too closely to their dental appointments.

Payments

Payment is required at the time services are rendered unless prior arrangements have been made with Dr. House. Payments by cash, check, and credit card are accepted.

Insurance

We accept most dental insurance and care plans, and, as a courtesy to our patients, submit their claims. Please keep in mind that dental insurance and care plans are contracts between the insurance or care plan and the patient or their employer. Ultimately, the patient is responsible for their dental care choices and fees, whether or not the insurance or care plan provides benefits.

We are also able to file and receive reimbursement for patients on some plans for which we are not listed as a participating provider. Contact our office staff for information.

Billing

A financing payment plan through an outside source is available for those who wish to apply and qualify.

Emergencies

Dr. House makes every effort to care for emergency patient needs promptly. Patients of record should call the dental office at (318) 949-9665 during regular office hours or call (318) 949-2008 after regular business hours. In the event that you cannot contact Dr. House or wait for a call back, please go to the nearest emergency room for care.

Staff

Dr. Isaac Anderson House obtained his doctorate of dental surgery in 1984 from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. He continues to learn more in his practice of dentistry through reviewing the latest dental research journals and attending continuing education courses locally and around the country.

Additional staff includes dental assistants and a Registered Dental Hygienist trained in their fields.
